COVID-19 Information Centre

General Information

Thank you for your patience.

A new COVID-19 screening protocol will be in effect as of August 10 at all municipal facilities. Screening questions adhere to direction from Halton Region’s Medical Officer of Health to help determine the likelihood of a person’s exposure to the COVID-19 virus. On the day of your program, you are asked to complete the online screening before arriving at the facility. When you arrive, show the 'green check mark' on your mobile device. Facility ambassadors will also help with on-site, in-person screening. The screening program will keep an attendance log for 30 days in the event that contact tracing is required by Halton Public Health. After this period, data is automatically deleted. We are excited to be able to offer CanSkate sessions once again. Skaters must have completed CanSkate level 2 to register and participate.  Due to policies and procedures currently in effect as a result of COVID-19, skaters must be able to stand, move and recover from falls independently to be eligible for registration. Coaches will not be providing hands on assistance to skaters.

Spectator space is EXTREMELY LIMITED.  To respect facility capacity requirements, parents of skaters 8+ are asked to bring their skater fully dressed (skates/ guards on) to the entrance, where they will be escorted by Program Assistants or Board Members to the ice. Parents are asked to return to the building at the end of the session to pick up their skaters.
