CanSkate Learn-to-Skate Thursdays Fall 10-week Program

CanSkate is Skate Canada's flagship learn-to-skate program. The program focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. Participants earn badges and other incentives as they learn fundamental skating skills. Lessons are given in a group format and led by an NCCP certified professional coach. First level of our program utilizing action-packed, high energy activities and drills to build balance, power, agility, speed, and endurance for hockey and ringette. Fundamentals of power skating are taught in a progressive and sequential manner with emphasis on how the skills apply to game situations. For safety reasons, participants should wear full hockey/ringette equipment that is CSA approved.
