Why do we do fundraisers?

Program fees cover the cost of renting the ice from the town; the cost of coaching time; and the cost of bare-minimum administrative costs, like website hosting and external accounting support. 

That means any extras we can purchase or offer - equipment that helps our skaters, like the harness; new iPads for playing music; hosting performance events - are limited by the amount we can raise through fundraising. 

There is a position on our Board for planning and overseeing fundraising activities. Email president@actonskatingclub.com for more info.
