What's Included

Our Jr. StarSkate program is a hybrid of our Canskate and StarSkate programs. It is designed to help propel our Canskaters wanting to focus on figure skating specific skills. Helmets will continue to be worn until skater successfully completes Stage 6 of our Canskate program. Figure skates are highly recommended.

The program itself consists of 1 hour of full ice which includes a guided warmup, group lesson and practice stations. During this time skaters will learn the fundamental techniques of figure skating in a fun, positive and high energy environment. At the end of the season ribbons and badges are handed out with a special victory lap for skaters who have successfully completed Stage 6 of our Canskate program and no longer require a helmet.
